Pope Paul VI Institute: Building a Culture of Life in Health Care for 25 Years

Washington, D.C. (02 September 2010) – American Life League president Judie Brown congratulates the Pope Paul VI Institute for the Study of Human Reproduction on its 25th anniversary.

The Institute will celebrate its first quarter century of service with a special “Celebration of Love & Life” Sept. 2–5 in Omaha, Nebraska, featuring such noteworthy speakers as founder Thomas W. Hilgers, M.D.; Archbishop George Lucas; Archbishop Elden Curtiss; EWTN’s Raymond Arroyo; Justin Cardinal Rigali and many others.

“For 25 years, Dr. Hilgers and his staff have led the field in a revolutionary, countercultural approach to women’s health care that fully respects life and the integrity of women.

“In a world that has given up on legitimate women’s health care, the Institute has helped husbands and wives embrace their vocation to love one another in a way that truly respects human dignity.

“Modern medicine typically offers only two options for women’s reproductive health: contraception and abortion. Both literally wreck a woman’s bodily processes and are deadly to women, children, marriages and society. In contrast, through its pioneering work in the Creighton Model FertilityCare System and cutting-edge NaPro Technology, the Institute is developing an entirely new and ethical women’s health care science.

“Dr. Hilgers and his staff have fearlessly led the way to developing highly effective natural solutions for ethical spacing of children, infertility and women’s health problems – solutions that don’t create children by unnatural means; don’t destroy them through abortifacient contraception, abortion and IVF practices; don’t poison women’s bodies; and don’t pollute the environment.

“Congratulations to the whole team at the Pope Paul VI Institute for the Study of Human Reproduction! May the Institute thrive and continue its life-affirming medical research and development for many more years!”
