A mother and her two daughters, all former Girl Scouts who say they are disillusioned with the organization’s connection to less-than family values, claim the U.S. group’s 52nd National Convention next week in Houston is a farce. Speakers at the convention, planned for Nov. 8 – 13, include Houston Mayor Annise Parker, who lives with her same-sex partner Kathy Hubbard, campaign treasurer for Planned Parenthood. Parker’s upcoming bid for re-election as Houston Mayor is endorsed by Planned Parenthood.
