The Media Research Center analyzed numbers on what the members of the press really think, and it should come as no surprise to any of us that according to one poll 68 percent of journalists voted for Kerry. But the shock came upon reading the MRC report on a University of Connecticut poll which found that 80 percent of respondents said the "right to privacy is essential and 90 percent aid that the "right to practice no religion" is essential.
As someone who has viewed many members of the media with a wary eye for 30 years now, I would like to know how it is that a "reporter" who is supposed to "report" facts could possible care about such things a the subjective right to privacy or the ridiculous right to practice no religion. Precisely what do such things have to do with providing real news to the American public?
Gee, I almost forgot – nobody has seen or heard any real news in so long we all forgot what it's even like.
