Planned Parenthood Defunding: Let’s Teach the Ladies How to Be Ladylike

Once the word got out that the U. S. House of Representatives was going to do more than just talk about how bad Planned Parenthood and its cronies are, and why no taxpayer should be required to pay for its efforts, all the minions came marching out, lockstep, to distort the truth. The insincerity was overflowing, particularly in the latest Planned Parenthood production.

While such activity is not surprising—some of us have witnessed it for more than a quarter century—it is still not very ladylike, ladies! Which ladies am I referring to?

Well, let me name a few of those who believe in propagandizing minds, pillaging souls and killing babies at taxpayer expense. They are featured in the latest Planned Parenthood production, “Congresswomen Stand Up for Planned Parenthood.”

Three pro-abortion Congresswomen decry the recent pro-life vote in Congress, claiming that it hurts families, hurts women and denies basic reproductive care to the poor and the needy. It’s a real Kleenex moment if one fails to look beneath the rhetoric and examine their individual actions.

WORDS: Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro (CT-D) talks about “strengthening middle class families.”

ACTIONS: DeLauro voted against restricting interstate transport of minors to get abortions.

So much for strengthening families! In DeLauro’s world, killing grandchildren without the parents of a minor child even knowing about it is acceptable. Since when do such actions “strengthen” families?

WORDS: Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky (IL-D) says that pro-life members of Congress support anti-woman legislation that is an assault on birth control, family planning and other services.

ACTIONS: Schakowsky was a guest on MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow Show where she forcefully told the audience that she would not vote in favor of Obamacare if the anti-some-abortion-funding Stupak Amendment remained part of that bill. In other words, Schakowsky wants abortion on demand paid for with tax dollars. Schakowsky views abortion as a peace offering to women rather than the deadly assault on babies that it actually is.

WORDS: Congresswoman Lois Capps (D-CA) claims that Planned Parenthood funding helps “our mothers, our sisters, and our friends.”

ACTIONS: Capps authored the infamous Capps Amendment to the health care reform bill which, according to Capps, preserves the status quo on abortion as embodied in the Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton Supreme Court decisions. Capps has never, during her eleven years in Congress, cast a pro-life vote! In fact, her amendment “calls for the public plan to cover abortions and mandates that at least one abortion-covering plan be available in every U.S. region.”

And there it is! Three ladies with one common goal: making sure taxpayers pay for killing babies by continuing funding for the most pro-abortion organization in America’s history—Planned Parenthood Federation of America.

ACTIONS:

Each of us who has the will to work tirelessly in defending preborn babies must contact U.S. Senators now.

We must teach these ladies how to be womanly—in the image of the Blessed Mother Mary—by praying for their conversion and by doing all we can to protect innocent babies from being torn, limb from limb, at taxpayer expense.

Let’s demand that the House victory become a Senate victory for the babies!
