Obama gives us a divisive LGBT declaration

By Rey Flores

“Now, therefore, I, Barack Obama, president of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States do hereby proclaim June 2015 as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month” — Presidential Proclamation of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month, 2015

President Obama himself has declared it officially. We as a nation now celebrate what was once considered unspeakable in decent company.

From now on, June will no longer be about graduations, and especially not about Father’s Day anymore, that is, unless your father is like Bruce Jenner, transforming into Caitlyn Jenner right before your very eyes.

AS MY FRIEND “DOC” POINTED OUT:

This proclamation is so prideful, arrogant, and divisive it couldn’t have been written from any place other than pure hatred for the good, true, and beautiful that all men and women have potentially in our human nature.

Obama’s words unleash demons and bring disrespect and hatred upon the Church, which is no less than Jesus existing among us.

I could not have said it any better. If there is any hope to save anything that is pure, innocent, and good in this forsaken world, well, my friends, that will depend on each and every single one of us.

Meanwhile, across the globe, Russian president Vladimir Putin is awarding The Order of Parental Glory to parents (including adoptive parents), who have raised seven or more children. The decoration was instituted by a presidential executive order in May 2008, and was first awarded on January 13, 2009.

Parents in that country are awarded for paying great care to the next generation’s health and education and its physical, spiritual, and moral development.

While the jury is still out on what kind of leader Putin is, that isn’t my concern, because Russia is not where I am raising my children. But a leader’s actions say so much about where a nation is headed, and President Obama has just punched this nation’s ticket straight to the infernal regions.

Just to make sure everyone behaves and stays in line, the Justice Department has commissioned Michigan State University to study right-wing groups and their use of the social media and how it evolves into violence.

That’s right, folks. Along with a presidential document that lauds homosexuality and its practitioners, the government is supporting actions that will presumably help determine and define that Christians are subversives and enemies of a state that embraces evil and hates good.

In this increasingly hostile anti-Christian environment, we more than ever need our shepherds and priests to give us the spiritual shelter and the necessary sacraments for our salvation.

While I am happy to say that for the most part we do have good solid priests and many good bishops, we do also have some among the Church hierarchy like Cardinal Walter Kasper who has recently given his unofficial endorsement of Ireland’s “gay marriage” vote.

And, while I do think Pope Francis’ troubling statements are often part of ongoing misrepresentation by the anti-Catholic mainstream news propaganda machine, I pray that the Holy Father has an ace card up his sleeve.

In the Church, June is the Month of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. It is there where we will find true refuge from the hellhole that this world is turning into. It is in the sacraments that we will also find relief from the increasing heat of the fires being set upon our society.

While some of our shepherds know well that they are called to be martyred for Christ, many still are bought off by the sinful and immoral rewards of this world. Compassion and charity are best demonstrated through the way Christ taught us, even if it takes us breaking a few hearts and hurting people’s feelings.

As the days get darker, make sure you still appreciate the beauty in the eyes, the voices, the laughter, and the company of your loved ones.

Share the word of God with them by taking them to Mass, adoration, and confession with you.

There is nothing that President Obama or any of his cohorts across the globe can level at any of us. We are protected by God’s mercy and love and He will stand by us as the final breath leaves our earthly body.
